NAMM 2011: TC Electronic Win Big At TEC Awards
TC Electronic received TEC Awards for the PolyTune tuner pedal and the signal processing flagship, System 6000 MKII at this years NAMM.
In connection with the NAMM Show 2011, the annual TEC Awards show was held for the 26th time, and TC Electronic was awarded twice for the groundbreaking PolyTune polychromatic guitar and bass tuner pedal and the industry standard signal processing unit: System 6000 MKII.
PolyTune won in the 'Ancillary Equipment' category, and System 6000 MKII was voted the winner of the 'Signal Processing Technology/Hardware' category.
PolyTune is the first tuner in the world to offer polyphonic tuning which means that guitarists and bassists can tune up extremely fast by simply strumming all strings simultaneously, letting them get back to playing in no time.
System 6000 MKII is the successor to the original System 6000 that was a renowned industry standard for years.
Now, with the MKII version, signal processing for professional audio production and mastering has reached yet another high point.
The TEC awards, or the Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards, recognize the achievements of audio professionals, and the annual event is hosted by the TEC Foundation.
The TEC Award nominations are made by a panel of industry professionals, and the winners are chosen by members of various professional organizations and audio industry websites who vote on the candidates.Posted on 21 Jan 2011 17:16 to category : Instruments News
