Akai MPC Studio music production controller is to be released at NAMM 2012. After announcing earlier this week that they would be releasing the MPC Renaissance at NAMM 2012, Akai are adding another MPC to the popular music production series. The Akai MPC Studio is made to move offering the most streamline MPC to date at under one inch thin, with low-profile controls and a brushed aluminium body. Merging real MPC pads, iconic workflow and the same software being used by the Renaissance gives an effective portable production solution, allowing you to produce anywhere, anytime. Fusing legendary MPC production with the processing power of a computer the MPC Studio is a great piece of kit with the ability to connect and be USB powered by both Mac and PC. It features a large LCD screen, four touch sensitive knobs providing enhanced MPC software control and 16 backlit genuine MPC pads. Adding to the impressive hardware the MPC studio also has a 6GB sound library and 64-track sequencing capability, what more could you want?
