NAMM 2012 VIDEO: Ashdown Release Update Amp Range

NAMM 2012: Ashdown Update Bass Amps to Celebrate 15 Years
Ashdown Update Bass Amps to Celebrate 15 Years
Ashdown have announced updates across the bass amp range, as well as new ABM amps and Classic Tube Magnifier 300W, to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Every updated will feature the new 15th Anniversary logo from the practice amp series up to the BTA-400s. The All Access range of practice amps includes the After 8, Perfect 10 and Five 15. Each has had its rating upgraded, to 20W, 40W and 100W respectively, as well as new tube-emulated gain drive. A Mix control allows you to control the level of the backing track being input to the amp, while the EQ section remains the same. Two new ABM amps have been created, the ABM-1000 and ABM-2000. The new ABMs have huge tone - bigger and ballsier, but weighing less in the class D power section. With 1000 Watts RMS (2000 Watts Peak) available, the new ABM amps are going to blow you away. The Classic Tube Magnifier 300 Watt All Tube head is a simple, to the point bass amp head, which also features a tasty tube driven DI. The preamp is simple, with tube drive and recovered FX loop, dual gain stage and bass, middle and treble controls. Bias can be set by the user for each power tube, calibrated by a dual function VU on the front of the amp. All amps now come with a 5-year limited warranty as Ashdown are so certain of their products reliability.
