NAMM 2014: Blue 'Hampton' Mic Spotted UPDATE
Blue's latest microphone will be a small-diaphragm condenser, suited for live and studio applications.
Less than 8 inches tall, the head rotates for optimum placement and adjustment.
Ideal for instrument miking, Blue Hampton is also optimised for multi-mic setups, such as drum miking and stereo XY.
Blue say, "We built Hampton around the renowned B1 small diaphragm capsule then introduced something new for today's touring and studio musicians."
With warmth and detail, plus that useful rotating head for convenient placement, Hampton goes beyond the capabilities of a dynamic mic.
The new microphone will also be available as the Blue Hampton Matched Pair.
UPDATE: Blue Microphones are now giving you the chance to name the new mic, just head over to the Blue Microphones Facebook page to submit your idea!
