NAMM 2014: Genelec Launch 8010 Monitor, Their Smallest Ever Speaker
The 8010 is Genelec's smallest ever monitor, with all the benefits of the 8000 series in the most portable package yet.
The new monitor would be ideal for smaller project studios, OB vans on a trustworthy monitor for taking on the road.
The Genelec 8010 is bi-amplified with efficient Class D power amps. Intelligent Signal Sensing circuitry in contained inside the small casing, which has an excellent response and SPL of 96 dB, despite the small size (less than 20cm high!).
Compatible with a 7050 subwoofer and with multiple Genelec mounting accessories, the 8010 even has a universal input voltage, essential for travelling audio professionals.
With exceptional sound quality, small size and universal power supply, the Genelec 8010 is the perfect monitor for musicians on the move.
