NAMM 2015: Fender 2015 Acoustics Revealed
The first of the new releases is the Kingman ASCE Electro Acoustic with a solid Mahoghany body and solid Spruce top, finished in a gorgeous 3 tone sunburst. This dreadnought-cutaway offers premium features including an all-solid construction, forward-shifted scalloped “X” bracing, black Stratocaster headstock and a comfortable “C” shaped neck profile.
Also new for NAMM 2015 is the unique and eyecatching Special Edition Vince Ray Outer Space Electro Acoustic. Adorned with ‘50s-era horror comic imagery, this Vince Ray guitar depicts two twisted themes – otherworldly “Guitar Monster from Outer Space” graphics on the front and Frankenstein-esque “Guitar Creature” graphics on the back.
The final acoustic is the Tim Armstrong Hellcat White Satin. This limited edition guitar is an elegant take on the beat-up old ‘60s Fender acoustic on which Armstrong wrote many songs for West Coast punk institution Rancid. Perfect for players of various different styles including pop, rock, folk and more, the solid Mahogany top delivers a sweet sound.
