NAMM 2016: M-Audio Launch Wireless Sound System Power Station

M-Audio Power Station
M-Audio Power Station
The M-Audio Power Station is a compact 50W (25W continious) wireless battery-powered sound system featuring a rechargeable battery, Bluetooth connectivity and multiple inputs.

Compact and transportable, the M-Audio Power Station is the ideal solution for delivering vibrant, high-output sound wherever you need it, especially when there's no ready access to AC power.

Featuring an internal Class-D Amplifier, the 8-inch 2-way speaker delivers exceptional volume and detailed high-fidelity sound, making it ideal for a range of live applications from school assembly's to small gigs and house parties.

You can play music directly from your phone or tablet device, either wirelessly or through the stereo 1/4" (2 x TRS) line input and a stereo 1/8'' aux inputs. The Bluetooth connection capability is ideal for a range of applications as it gives you the freedom to move wherever you want and fine-tune the speaker to suit the space and needs of your performance.

You can enjoy or perform music for longer periods of time without worrying that the speaker will lose power with the M-Audio extreme capacity rechargeable battery, delivering hours of uninterrupted play.

The Class-D amplifier technology incorporated into this amp was developed to deliver exceptional sonic performance whilst not being a drain on resources and power. Eliminating the need for heavy power supply and big heat sinks, the Class-D amplifier provides optimal audio quality while using less energy and protecting components.

"Power Station is aptly named: it's a great unit - compact, transportable and affordable - that delivers the ultimate power and audio quality to venues that don%u2019t have ready access to AC power," "However, the feature that%u2019s bound to be the biggest hit is the fact that it can power equipment connected to its AC extension outlets even when Power Station is operating off its own high-capacity internal battery. That is the very definition of convenience, power and performance. People will love that.%u201D - JC Sutherland, Product Manager for M-Audio
