Ne-Yo ready to help Alexandra
Ne-Yo wants to help Alexandra Burke crack America.
The 'Closer' singer has already worked with the 'Bad Boys' hitmaker on the UK version of her debut album 'Overcome' and is keen to lend a hand before she launches the LP Stateside.
He said: "Alexandra Burke is a really, really, really talented girl. Everybody is always raving about her performances.
"I haven't had the opportunity to spend any real time with her, but I look forward to doing that at some point before I leave this planet. If she needs help on her American album then she should pick up the phone."
As well as helping Alexandra, Ne-Yo also wants to work with Cheryl Cole, who mentored Alexandra when she won UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' in 2008.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I remember meeting with Cheryl in late 2009 about doing some stuff and unfortunately it was right before I went off to do my movie 'Red Tails', so I never got a chance to get it in. But I remember being blown away - she is breathtakingly gorgeous. It was difficult to talk to her, because she'd say something and I'd be like, 'Huh?' I missed everything she said because I was just staring at her.
"She's a great artist. I actually caught a couple of her performances on the internet. She can give me a call too."Posted on 11 Feb 2010 10:30 to category : Music News
