New acts added to Isle of Wight Festival 2013
Palma Violets and Emeli Sande are among the groups that will play the event in 2013, which is being headlined by Bon Jovi, The Killers and The Stone Roses, all of which were recently unveiled by organisers.
John Giddings, the festival's promoter, spoke about the announcement of The Killers, adding: "We are proud to bring one of the world's greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the south coast of England…thanks for coming, it will be a weekend to remember!"
Other acts in the latest announcement include Lianne La Havas, Ben Howard and Laura Mvula, Hugh Cornwell, The Levellers, Young Guns, Kids In Glass Houses, Newton Faulkner, Willy Moon and The Blockheads.
Festival goers will be hoping there is not a repeat of last year's event when heavy rain caused severe delays for many music fans heading to the event and turned the campsite into a mud bath.
