Newcastle Guitar Show declared a success
The Newcastle Guitar Show attracted record numbers when it took place over the weekend.
It was held at the Federation Brewery in Gateshead on Sunday (March 6th), with exhibitors including the likes of Roland and JHS, reports MI-Pro.
Organiser Peter Hoarty said he was delighted with the turnout.
"There were queues to get in from half an hour before opening and the door was busy until well into the afternoon. Most of the crowd came early and stayed all day," he stated.
Demonstrations from product experts took place as part of the bash, while live performances were given by local band Victims of the Fury and tribute act The ZZ Tops.
The conference was run by Northern Guitar Shows, with the organisation's next event lined up for May 15th.
It is to host the North West Guitar Show at the Haydock Park Racecourse Exhibition Centre on that date.
Another upcoming music industry conference is the London Bass Guitar Show at the Olympia venue.
This will be opened by Level 42 star Mark King on March 12th, who will perform live before signing posters at the TC Electronic stand later in the day.
