Nick Mason 'hoping for Pink Floyd reunion'
Nick Mason, the man behind the drum kit in Pink Floyd, has expressed his hope that the group can play together again.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, the star explained that none of the members of the band are against the idea of reuniting, although no firm plans have been established.
He said that a full run of Pink Floyd gigs is not on the cards.
"I think it is very unlikely we are going to go out on tour however I live in hope we would absolutely do another Live 8 or play together for the right reasons," the drummer explained.
Mason added that he is keen to see fellow band member Roger Waters' take on The Wall for himself, as the singer is about to embark of a European tour of the landmark Pink Floyd album.
Waters is to begin with two gigs in Lisbon this week, moving on to play cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Prague, Moscow and Stockholm before reaching the UK.
On May 11th, he will start a six-date run at the O2 Arena in London, with further performances planned in Manchester and Birmingham, while also heading over to Ireland to play in Dublin.
