Nirvana's musical instruments to feature in new exhibition
A selection of musical instruments used by Nirvana during their time as a band are to go on display next month in Seattle.
Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses is to run between April 16th and 22nd at the Experience Music Project in the US city, with a range of memorabilia related to the group being shown to the public.
Handwritten lyrics for two early Nirvana songs, as well as scores of photos documenting the group's history will also be seen by exhibition visitors.
As part of Record Store Day next month, the rare Nirvana EP Hormoaning is to be rereleased.
Only 6,000 new copies of the record will be made available, which was initially only out to buy during the group's 1992 tour of Australia and featured two original songs plus a number of covers, reports the Independent.
