Music fans making their way to the iTunes Festival this summer will be able to hear Noah And The Whale show off their electric guitar skills.

It has been revealed that the band will be among the line-up at the free event being held between July 1st and 31st 2011.

The news was leaked on the iTunes Festival 2011's Twitter page earlier this morning (April 21st) and the group will take to the stage on July 23rd.

They will join the 61 other artists that will be performing at the Roundhouse in London during the month.

Among the music groups and acts taking to the stage in July are the Manic Street Preachers, Duran Duran and Linkin Park.

British solo artist Adele will also be taking to the stage, which is likely to be of interest to a number of attendees as her record entitled 21 has proved hugely popular, having been at the number one position in the UK album charts for an 11-week stretch.

She was knocked off the top spot by Foo Fighters earlier this week but has already broken records for her achievement.

Later this month, Noah And The Whale will go on tour around Europe and the US, kicking off in Lille, France, on April 26th and playing at a number of British festivals later this summer.
