Noel Gallagher: Missus doesn't think much of my music
Noel Gallagher has revealed that his wife has never been a big fan of his music, a sentiment that continues with his solo work.
In an interview with Xfm, the former Oasis star, who plays the acoustic guitar, said: "I've got to say, my missus is not the biggest fan of anything I've ever done ever. She's a bit like... meh. It's not Kasabian, is it? Do you know what I mean?"
He added that his wife Sara was not too fond of the last track of his new debut solo studio album, which is released in October.
Entitled Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, it is the singer-songwriter's first proper foray into music since Oasis split up.
Lucky for him he's not that bothered what other people think. In his typically self-assured manner, he told the radio station: "I literally wouldn't be putting it out if it was not the best that I could do at that point. Whether my circle of friends like it or not is irrelevant."
His brother Liam was first off the marker following the dissolution of one of the UK's biggest ever rock bands. He now fronts the indie outfit Beady Eye.
