Noel Gallagher: X Factor contestants are appalling and dreadful
The outspoken former Oasis star told Digital Spy that he had sat down to watch the show for the first time last weekend and was shocked to find out that the contestants battling it out for a lucrative contract were appalling and dreadful.
He conceded that the X Factor was good at what it did, even if he didn't quite like it.
Gallagher, who has just released his first solo studio album, told the news provider: "It's only a TV show, though, and the whole thing is more like a soap opera with all their back stories and that carry on.
"The live shows are when it's at its best and it's great Saturday night TV, especially when you've got an 11-year-old daughter. That show is her life!"
In between his music duties and have a bit of a moan, Gallagher, like his brother Liam, has ventured into the world of fashion.
He has teamed up with Adidas to release his own range of trainers, based on the sport giant’s classic 72' range.
