Noel Gallagher eager to release solo album
Former Oasis songwriter and electric guitar player Noel Gallagher has said he is looking forward to becoming a solo artist.
Speaking to the Mirror, he revealed that he is excited about "doing my own thing" and "bringing out my own music".
"I am not thinking about much else," Noel continued.
"I'm just having a good time."
The electric guitar player walked out on Oasis during the summer because of personal differences with his brother Liam.
Noel added that the support from his fans over the last few months has been "great".
Liam recently confirmed that Noel's departure from Oasis marked the end of the band, which enjoyed success with hits such as Live Forever, Supersonic and Don't Look Back in Anger.
Noel, who wrote the majority of the group's hits, was recently confirmed as a guest on Kasabian's upcoming UK tour.
The Leicester band supported Oasis during their shows in the UK earlier this year.Posted on 25 Oct 2009 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
