Noel Gallagher joins Paul Weller on stage
Noel Gallagher made a surprise appearance at a Paul Weller gig last night (April 21st 2010).
The electric guitar stars played two songs together at the Relentless Garage venue in London, where Weller was appearing to perform tracks from his new album Wake Up The Nation.
They covered a version of Oasis song Mucky Fingers before playing Weller's Echoes Round The Sun, a track that originally featured Gallagher, reports NME.
Weller went on to play a range of tracks from down his career at the show, including Start!, a song he first recorded when he was in The Jam.
Earlier this month, Gallagher told Talk Sport that he sees Weller as one of his closest friends, reported the Gibson website.
"I guess Weller's my oldest friend, I suppose, and I don't mean the fact that he's, like, 50. I mean the fact that I've known him for a long time," the Epiphone guitar player joked.
