Noel Gallagher 'to play more Oasis songs'
The guitar player and songwriter will play seven or eight of the group's tracks alongside material from his High Flying Birds project.
He said that he originally planned to use less of his older work, but had to include more to make the shows a decent length.
"[The number of Oasis songs] has gone from four, to six. In fact, it could actually be seven or eight now," he told Bang Showbiz.
This week saw a new track from his solo album being released onto the web. I'd Pick You Everytime follows The Death Of You And Me, If I Had a Gun and AKA…What A Life.
While Noel does not have an issue using old Oasis material in his gigs, his brother and former bandmate Liam takes a rather different view. He previously stated that he has no desire to play Oasis songs with his new group Beady Eye.
However, he did hint that he may change his mind in the future, telling BBC Six Music: "Maybe down the line, in the third album we might throw some in there just for the crack."
He has also criticised Noel for using songs which he wrote during Oasis's final recording session on his solo effort.
