Ocean Colour Scene to play at Guernsey festival
Electric guitar band Ocean Colour Scene are among the acts to be added to the Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts.
It is the debut year for the event and so the organisers will be hoping fans of rock music will turn out for it.
Also appearing on the bill will be The Gaslight Anthem, who will take the stage on July 3rd.
The event is being held at the farmland known locally as The Rabbit Warren, with tickets for the series of concerts due to go on sale on March 19th.
Individuals who like to see musical instruments played could be tempted to travel to the island and sample some of the tunes on offer.
Also on the bill are The Go! Team, Example, The Stowawys, Last of the Light Brigade and Twist and Pulse.
Ocean Colour Scene are set to release a deluxe edition of the Moseley Shoals record, which was first released in 1996 and features The Riverboat Song.
As well as the original album, people will also be treated to 23 B-sides from their career, while those who buy the songs on iTunes will be given four videos.
