One Direction guitar raises €10,500 at auction
Niall Horan's first-ever guitar was put under the hammer to help generate funds for LARCC Cancer Support. The boyband member took to Twitter to display his joy that the instrument had raised so much money, Entertainmentwise.com reports
Horan tweeted: "Was on the phone to @nbrez [Niall Breslin, Irish musician] and @eoghanmcdermo [Eoghan McDermott, radio presenter for RTE] when they were doin [sic] the auction for charity last night! My first ever guitar went for 10,500 [euros]"

It comes after a woman in Arbroath was lucky enough to win a signed One Direction guitar, scooping the top prize in a competition she was not even aware she had entered.
The Courier reported that Erin Mowatt's father Alan had put the 21-year-old's name down in the prize draw as a surprise.
