But one member of the ex-X Factor boy band says that many of the group's supporters have at least made their way into the lobby of their hotel – with some taking things a step further.
"Loads of fans have been in the hotel lobby – and some of them even check in. I don't know how they can afford it," Liam Payne has said to The Daily Star.
The pop star - who actually first took part in The X Factor in a series prior to the 2010 run in which his group were formed – was speaking as the chaps were in America to tour.
The five-strong group have released singles What Makes You Beautiful, One Time and Gotta Be You, as well as an album, Up All Night.
