Paloma Faith's 'moving' performance

'Stone Cold Sober' hitmaker Paloma Faith has revealed performing at this year's Isle of Wight festival was the most ''moving'' experience of her career to date.

Paloma Faith was "moved" when she performed at Britain's Isle of Wight festival.

The 'Stone Cold Sober' singer - who shot to fame after her debut album 'Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful' was released in September 2009 - admitted playing to thousands of people at the music event was the best experience of her career to date.

She told MySpace at last weekend's iTunes festival: "When I walked on stage and there were about 70,000 people out there I felt really moved, it just looked incredible"

The singer-and-songwriter also spoke of her desire to duet with a male singer, but doesn't think there have been any good male/female vocal collaborations since the '80s.

Paloma, 24, advised her dream duet partners would be Paulo Nutini, Caleb Followill from Kings of Leon, Andre 3000 and Eli 'Paperboy' Reed.

She added: "There are no good boy girl duets anymore, not since Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan."

Prior to performing at the Isle of Wight, the singer explained she would be naturally competitive with the other acts playing at this year's festivals.

She said: "I'll probably be having some healthy, mild competition with other people! Hahaha! So I'm going to try and do my absolute best to have an impact."
