Paper invites guitar fans to recommend solos

The website of a well-known newspaper is inviting people to say what their favorite guitar solo is.
Great deals on musical instruments
A newspaper website is inviting people to declare which guitar solo is their favourite.

Although the Guardian does not mention whether it means specifically acoustic guitar or electric guitar solos, its possibly fair to say that the latter music instrument has become more associated with the technique in its time!

Many electric guitar players no doubt enjoy coming up with new guitar solos as they practice.

Now, along with all other music fans, they've been given the chance to tell the Guardian – in 200 words or fewer - which guitar solo from the world of music is better than any other, in their opinion.

Tomorrow at 8am is the cut off point for submissions, with details of how to get involved available on the Guardian website.

Sparking their readers' imaginations, the paper has given some examples of guitar solos – such as that employed by Time Is Running Out band Muse on their track Stockholm Syndrome.
