Tour Manager Andrew Dobbins, who is constantly listening in on the band during rehearsals and performances, goes on to say:
"The PSM900s score highly on sound quality and new features, but there's also a certain future-proofing built in - namely the 2012 switchover to digital"
The 2012 Switchover is Government policy meaning that analogue to almost everyone will be able to receive digital TV through an aerial.
This means that wireless users will no longer be able to use TV channel 69 (854-862MHz), but instead should use the replacement TV channel 38.
