Paul Rodgers playing special Yamaha event

The former Free front man will be the latest musician to play in the Off The Record sessions.
Great deals on musical instruments

People will get the chance to see Paul Rodgers playing a Yamaha electric guitar as part of the latest Off The Record event.

It will be held tonight (April 13th) and the location of the session is the Under The Bridge club, which is part of the Chelsea FC complex.

Yamha's Ricci Hodgson told Mi-Pro that hosting these types of concerts highlighted how successful the musical instruments of the company are.

Of Rodgers, he said: "We are thrilled and honoured to have been able to secure an artist of Paul's musicianship and calibre to front our second Off The Record event."

The former Free and Bad Company member will be playing songs and involving himself in conversation.

He has recorded some 30 albums in his career and as a solo artist has worked with the likes Brian May, David Gilmour, Slash and Joe Walsh.

The Off The Record sessions have been developed and produced by Yamaha Music UK and Planet Rock and the idea behind them is that people get to see a rock star in a more intimate surrounding.

Attendees will be able to ask Rodgers about numerous aspects of his career to date.
