Peavey AmpKit gets update
The Peavey AmpKit application for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been updated by the company.
Changes to the audio interface include more effective use of the iPad's display size, allowing users to view an amp and pedal setup at the same time as modifying settings.
Peavey has also introduced three new pieces of software, with it now being possible to make use of an American Acoustic selection, with the amp specifically designed for electro-acoustic guitarists.
It has 16 in-built effects, as well as an ultra-crisp PA simulation cabinet.
Also new to the AmpKit is Tremo-LOL, that offers British and American tremolo modes in a single unit and Wahba Doo, that provides users with auto-wah, manual wah with accelerometer tilt support and envelope filter.
Peavey AmpKit now offers its owners instant access to their iPod music library.
"There's no lengthy import process - just select a song from your iPod library and jam along instantly," a statement from the firm explained.
Last month, Jeff Klein from the band My Jerusalem explained he has been making good use of the Peavey AmpKit, creating songs outside of the studio with the aid of the device.
