Peavey Escort 3000 PA System used by Haiti charity
A Peavey Escort 3000 PA System has been put to good use in Haiti by a charity project.
The musical equipment manufacturer's sound system was taken to the country by representatives of the Bristol-based Cube Cinema, who used it as part of its 'Haiti Kids Kino Project'.
Children affected by the recent Haiti earthquake got to view films with the help of the Peavey Escort 3000 PA System as part of the initiative, which saw mobile cinemas set up around the country, reports MI-Pro.
An estimated 5,500 people turned up to the events in Haiti, which also gave children the chance to have a go at making their films after attending workshops.
Rod Maclachlan, a spokesman for the Haiti Kids Kino Project, said: "The system worked perfectly and survived the mud, rough roads and torrential rain."
Peavey is one of the musical brands that will be appearing at this year's London Music Show, which is taking place between October 8th and 10th 2010 at ExCel.Posted on 20 May 2010 18:30 to category : Instruments News
