Peavey electric guitar wins award
A Peavey electric guitar has been honoured for its attacking sound and distinctive appearance.
Eric Kirkland, a writer at the publication, described the instrument as a perfect electric guitar for metal players, as it has a comfortable yet fast neck, razor-sharp tones, lots of gain and a "rock solid" tremolo arm.
This could help to explain why the PXD Void III has been favoured by many metal guitarists players in recent years, including Dan Hatfield of The Crimson Armada and Chad Kulengosky of I Am Ghost.
"Peavey's Void III gives true metallists everything they could ever want," Mr Kirkland commented.
"Metal never gleamed so brightly."
He added that the electric guitar features "rampant" distortion and screeching harmonics.
This comes shortly after Jeff Tender encouraged heavy metal guitarists to make sure they use an electric guitar that is suitable for this type of music.Posted on 11 Aug 2009 11:17 to category : Instruments News
