Peavey's AmpKit LiNK votes one of the best guitar products of 2011
The Peavey AmpKit LiNK, "a high fidelity audio interface" designed to be used in conjunction with an iPod, iPad and iPhone, was voted as one of the best guitar-based products of 2011.
It is designed to connect an electric guitar or bass guitar into the headphone jack of one of the multimedia devices listed above and creates a de facto amp.
It has never been easier to be a guitarist, reducing the need to constantly carry amps around when a simple jamming session is required.
"AmpKit and the AmpKit LiNK set a high standard for realism and fidelity on the iOS platform," said Hartley Peavey, founder and chief executive officer of Peavey Electronics Corporation.
"We're excited that our retailers have found so much success with AmpKit LiNK, and we're honoured to be among Music Inc's Best of 2011."
Its unique selling point is that it suffers no feedback because of its unique circuitry.
