Peter Cech lends his goalkeeping hands to music making
Petr Cech, Chelsea's star goalkeeper, told Czech Television he took up the drums six months ago and loves every minute of it.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper said: "I've had a drum set at home for a long time and I really enjoy playing it."
Cech, who is from the Czech Republic has even set up a permanent drum kit in his London home.
He will soon be making his stage debut when he joins the alternative Czech band Eddie Stoilow at a gig.
"When I said that in public, a while ago, the idea started to form of a joint concern with a professional band. The lads from Eddie Stoilow sent me some arrangements for some songs; we are trying out something new," he told the broadcaster.
News of his musical skills come on the back of Nobby Solano revealing he likes nothing better than getting on stage with his band Geordie Latinos and jamming on his trumpet.
