Piano player Spektor to sing in UK

Recently heralded gigs will take place this summer.
Spektor will grace the Royal Albert Hall this summer.
Piano player and vocalist Regina Spektor's fans will be hoping they see plenty, whatever seats they book, at some upcoming British gigs.

Although with a forthcoming album called What We Saw from the Cheap Seats, they may be tempted to cut costs and try the title out for size!

They may also be hoping that the star's songs, including Us, Samson, On The Radio and Riot Gear get an airing at the concerts, which they'll be able to book places at from March 23rd.

The recently heralded gigs will take place this summer. One will be at the O2 in Manchester (July 4th), the other at the Royal Albert Hall in London (July 2nd).

Spektor's track Hero appeared on the soundtrack of film (500) Days of Summer and The Call played over the closing credits of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Her past song collections include the likes of Begin to Hope and Soviet Kitsch.

The latest saw Mike Elizondo – who has previously worked with Moves Like Jagger singers Maroon 5 – take the producer's seat.

It hits stores on the 12th of May.
