Pixie Geldof to launch music career
Pixie Geldof is releasing a single in 2010.
The 19-year-old model is said to have a "great vibe" by hotly-tipped singer Daisy Dares You, who regularly rehearses with the aspiring star.
Daisy Dares You, otherwise known as Daisy Coburn, said: "Pixie is a really talented girl and will surprise a lot of people.
"We have been playing music together for a while at my home. She's got a great vibe and writes good songs, I think you'll hear more of her this year."
Music is in the Geldof family; Pixie's father Bob Geldof was the lead singer of 'I Don't Like Mondays' hitmakers The Boomtown Rats.
Pixie - along with sister Peaches and pals Alice Dellal and Daisy Lowe - is a regular fixture on the London party circuit and known for her trend-setting ways.
She recently caused a stir by dying her hair grey after getting "bored" with her blonde tresses.
She said: "I'd been blonde for three years and fancied a change. I wasn't thinking about the colour, I just put on a bunch of toner one day, and there it was. It was rad. I didn't want to do another colour like pink, grey just seemed obvious."Posted on 7 Jan 2010 14:30 to category : Music News
