Placebo announce new tour and album
The band will release their seventh studio record, Loud Like Love, on September 16th before heading out on an extensive tour.
Loud Like Love is Placebo's follow-up to 2009's Battle for the Sun and has been recorded in London over the past year.
While no definitive tracklisting has been revealed just yet, the new album will feature ten tracks and come in five different formats, including a special 3D Lenticular Super Deluxe Box Set and a coloured vinyl edition.
The European tour will kick off at Torwar, Warsaw, Poland on November 12th finishing at the Bercy in Paris, France, on December 10th before jumping across the English Channel for the UK leg.
Placebo will play four shows on home soil starting at Birmingham's O2 Academy on December 12th, moving on to Glasgow O2 Academy (13th) and Manchester O2 Apollo (14th). A final performance is scheduled at O2 Academy Brixton, London, on December 16th.
Tickets for the UK shows go on sale on Friday (May 24th) at 09:00 BST.
