Play electric guitar on stage with Pavement
Electric guitar players who are fans of Pavement could join them on stage for a special TV appearance.
The group have announced a competition through their record company Matador for one lucky musician to perform with them during an appearance on Light Night with Jimmy Falon.
Following an 11-year break from the music scene, the group are to perform on the NBC programme and will mark the occasion by having one of their dedicated fans join their numbers on September 23rd 2010.
In order to be in with a shot of winning this coveted role, simply upload a video of yourself playing one of the approved tracks - including Shady Lane, Billie or Here - on the electric guitar before September 8th and the band will choose their favourites.
It will then be opened up to public vote before the winner is announced on September 20th and picks up their electric guitar to play with their musical heroes.
