Practising improved my guitar skills, says Francis Rossi
Francis Rossi believes his electric guitar playing has improved significantly over the last few years, because he has started practising regularly.
However, the Fender Telecaster player stated that in later years, he became increasingly interested in becoming a better all-round musician.
"It was only when I got older I started practising to improve," Rossi commented.
"I feel like I've finally joined the grown-ups club."
He added that he believes Status Quo are a far better band now than they have been at any time in the past.
However, Rossi described the group's recent appearance at Glastonbury as "dreadful" and said gigs where he does not have high expectations in advance often tend to be the best.
The band is currently on a European tour, treating fans to classic hits such as Rockin' All Over The World, Caroline, Mean Girl and Down Down.Posted on 24 Jul 2009 16:43 to category : Band / Celebrity News
