PreSonus Has Revealed The New StudioLive AR8, AR12 and AR16 USB Mixers

PreSonus has introduced three new mixers to their StudioLive range - the AR8, AR12 and AR16.

These new hybrid mixers are designed to keep mixing and recording simple in a multitude of applications from the stage, studio productions, podcasts, rehearsals and more.

As well as keeping things simple from a recording perspective, the AR hybrid mixers are lightweight with a number of features such as Bluetooth connectivity, class-A pre-amps and an integrated SD digital recorder.

The AR8 has 8 channels, the AR12 has 14 channels and the AR16 has 18 channels - Each have the ability to record in 24-bit, 96 kHZ via a USB 2.0 connection.

Channels one and two have a high impedance instrument inputs and so you can connect your electric guitar, electro-acoustic guitar or electric bass directly into the mixer without the need for a DI box.

The on-board Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity allows you to pair smartphone so that you can cue in backing tracks or simply play music during an interval or even setting up for the show. The SD card can also play up to 32 GB of MP3 or WAV files too.

A number of onboard delays and reverbs are on-board to help give your sound an extra dimension.
