Primal Scream and Mumford and Sons announced for Glastonbury
A host of new acts have been added to the bill for this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Indie-folk band Mumford and Sons, electric guitar group Primal Scream and dance legends The Chemical Brothers are among the new additions to the line-up.
Anna Calvi, BB King, Crystal Castles, Warpaint, Fleet Foxes and Janelle Monae have also been given slots at the bash, while Gruff Rhys and Friendly Fires will be in attendance as well.
The acts were confirmed by Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis in an interview with the Guardian, who revealed Primal Scream will headline the second stage on the Friday night, with Mumford and Sons appearing before them.
They will be up against U2, who will be taking to the Pyramid Stage at the same time.
Eavis said the Irish electric guitar band will provide a memorable experience for festival-goers when they give their performance.
"When people hear those anthems in that field it will just be amazing, you can't really go wrong with those songs," she stated.
Glastonbury is taking place between June 22nd and 26th this year, with Coldplay and Beyonce confirmed as the other headline acts for the event.
