Pro Sound Award Winners 2013 Announced

Who won at the 2013 Pro Sound Awards?
The event, held at the Ministry of Sound club, honoured the best engineers, producers and sound installations of 2013.

Broadcast Audio Team of The Year was awarded to the National Theatre Live Mixbus Audio team, led by Conrad Fletcher, with Broadcast Event of the Year going to Red Bull Stratos for capturing Felix Baumgartner's incredible space dive.

For temporary installed sound, Sennheiser's system at the David Bowie Is... exhibition at the V&A came up top, with the permanent set-up award going to Funktion-One for their unique 2014 Winter Olympics toboggan run project.

As previously reported, the Lifetime Acheivement award was bestowed on Andy Munro, acoustician and co-designer of the popular sE Munro Egg 150 Studio Monitors.

Live and Studio Engineers of the year were Jim Warren and Toby Alington respectively, with Mark Ronson scooping the award for Recording Production of the Year for his work on Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox album.

Awards were sponsored by the likes of Genelec, Focusrite Novation and Sennheiser.
