The Propellerhead Producers Conference has been held in London to coincide with the recent release of the company's Reason 5 and Record 1.5 software.

It took place at Ministry of Sound in London last Saturday (October 23rd 2010) and more than 170 producers and musicians were in attendance, reports MI-Pro.

Industry professionals were on hand at the conference to give advice on how to make the most of the Propellerhead Reason and Record music software.

Topics up for debate included drum production and parallel processing, as well as how to create remixes using the Timestretch function in the Record software.

The show was completed by a set from A Guy Called Gerald in the main room at Ministry of Sound, with the Reason music software used as part of the show.

Propellerhead Record 1.5 is an upgrade available to Reason owners, with the music software designed to make recording tracks an easier process.
