Pulp join Open'er Festival line up
Pulp have joined Coldplay and Paolo Nutini on the bill for Poland's Open'er Festival.
The 'Common People' group have been added to tenth year line up of the five day event, which takes place in July.
Also added to the bill today are indie band The Wombats and Scottish singer Paolo.
Pulp have reformed to play the festival circuit for the first time since originally disbanding in 2002, and will play a number of dates across Europe this summer.
A statement by the band said: "Pulp have decided to get together and play some concerts this summer. The shows will involve all original members of the band; Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior, Mark Webber - and they'll be playing songs from all periods of their career. Yes, that means your favourites."
Other acts confirmed for the Open'er Festival - Poland's biggest festival - include Cut Copy, Foals, Youssou N'dour, Hurts and M.I.A.
The Open'er Festival takes place in the town of Gdynia from July Thursday June 30 to Sunday July 2. For more information on the festival and tickets visit www.opener.plPosted on 2 Mar 2011 18:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
