Pulp to reunite for summer 2011 shows
Indie icons Pulp are to reform for a series of shows taking place next summer.
The electric guitar band from Sheffield, famously led by frontman Jarvis Cocker, are reforming with all of their original members for the reunion shows.
When they play their first date, it will be the first time since August 1996 that all of the group have been on stage together.
The first UK gig to have been confirmed by the group is a headline slot at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park on July 3rd 2011.
Pulp have also been booked to play the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona on May 27th next year.
The long-running group put out their first LP in 1983, going on to achieve mainstream success in the mid-1990s with albums His 'n' Hers and Different Class.
They have promised to play tracks from across their entire career when their reunion gigs take place next year.
