Queens of the Stone Age to reissue album
American rock band Queens of the Stone Age are set to reissue their acclaimed Rated R album this summer ahead of performances at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals.
In an interview with NME, frontman and electric guitarist Josh Homme unveiled the band's plans to reissue Rated R as part of a package containing B sides and live tracks from their last performance at Reading.
Homme and the rest of Queens of the Stone Age will be picking up their instruments and dusting down their electric guitars to play several festivals this summer following a brief break while Homme worked on side project supergroup Them Crooked Vultures with Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Led Zepplin's John Paul Jones.
No official release date has been set for the Rated R reissue but it is expected to hit shelves in July 2010.
Rated R was originally released in 2000 and fast became a hit amongst the music lovers with NME writers voting it their top album of the year.Posted on 10 May 2010 18:15 to category : Band / Celebrity News
