Red Hot Chili Peppers and Damien Hirst design bass guitar
The US rock band first worked with the British contemporary artist, who is famous for controversial works like a diamond encrusted skull, a few months ago.
Hirst helped design the cover to the Chili Peppers' new studio album I'm With You.
Together with Flea, Hirst has put his creative mind to a bass guitar, producing a multi-coloured musical instrument that has a "corpse drawing".
There are 50 in total and they are being sold to raise money for the charity Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
"Hirst created this awesome CD cover for us, so thank you Damien. He did an amazing job. It was reasonable, we got the bro rate," he said. "Damien actually made me a bass, a butterfly bass, it's a beautiful thing."
He added that it wasn't just a piece of art that was to be hung on the wall but to be played and enjoyed.
It's not the first time Hirst has designed a guitar for charity. Last February, a guitar painted by the artist sold for $146,730 (approximately £92,127), which went towards War Child.
