Ringo Starr 'can't play Rock Band'
Ringo Starr may be a master behind a Ludwig drum kit, but it seems he is less proficient with a games controller.
The Fab Four's drummer recently tried his hand at The Beatles: Rock Band video game, which allows gamers to play along with many of the legendary group's records.
However, he has admitted that he has found it difficult to apply his actual drumming skills to the game, which was released in September last year.
Speaking to US talk show host Jimmy Fallon, he said: "We tried it when they were putting it together and they'd bring all these geniuses out to play it.
"It's too frantic for me."
This comes after Ringo's former bandmate Sir Paul McCartney admitted that he isn't very good at Rock Band either.
He recently told the Times that he lost on the Easy setting when he was trying to replicate his own bass guitar lines.Posted on 16 Jan 2010 08:00 to category : Instruments News
