Rise Against star: Les Pauls are the greatest guitars
Rise Against star Zach Blair has expressed his love for Gibson Les Paul guitars.
"For me, the Les Paul is the greatest rock and roll guitar of all time," he added.
"If you're not playing a Gibson guitar and you're playing this kind of music, whether it's punk, metal or anything grounded in rock and roll, you're not really doing it right."
Blair said he cannot imagine using any other brand of guitar as a professional musician.
He added that he always practices before every live show, going through each song to make sure he knows the setlist properly and can give a good performance to Rise Against fans.
Blair and the rest of the band will be appearing on the main stages at the Reading and Leeds festivals later this year.
They will play on Friday 26th August in Reading and the following day in Leeds on a bill that includes New Found Glory, Deftones, Thirty Seconds to Mars and My Chemical Romance.
