Ritchie turns to guitar post-divorce
Film director Guy Ritchie has been enjoying playing the guitar since his divorce from pop star Madonna at the end of 2008, it has been reported.
A member of the crew working on Ritchie's upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie told the Daily Express that the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels mastermind has taken to dressing like "a country gent" in recent months and "plays guitar non-stop".
"He seems to be much happier since his divorce," the insider remarked. "All he wants to do is sing and strum his guitar madly."
The source did not reveal what type of guitar Ritchie has been playing, but his ex-wife has been known to use a custom-made Gibson Les Paul while on tour in recent years.
Back in October 2008, Chinese news provider Sina.com published a number of pictures of Ritchie on the set of the Sherlock Holmes film playing a small acoustic guitar.Posted on 26 Jan 2009 18:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
