Robert Pattinson to start work on debut album
The actor, whose musical work has previously appeared on the soundtracks for the Twilight Saga films, and now a source close to R-Pattz has suggested that he will get started on a whole album as soon as he finds time in his hectic schedule.
"The album Rob will make will be guitar-based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop. Like stripped-down Ray LaMontagne meets Van Morrison," the insider told US Weekly.
Last year, Pattinson told Parade that he was keen to get into the studio with his guitar but that he simply did not have the time.
"I kind of want to do one at the end of the year - all my friends are recording albums and I'm very annoyed about it, but I can't do two things at once," he was quoted as saying by the magazine.
Pattinson's hectic schedule in recent years has been partly related to filming the four Twilight films, however, with the first half of the final instalment hitting cinema screens this year he may soon have more time to pursue other creative outlets.
