Roland have announced that today they are launching several new products into the market. These include the AD-2 Acoustic Preamp, CP-1X Compressor and JC-22 Jazz Chorus Guitar Amplifier.

The AD-2 acoustic preamp brings advanced, professional standard sound processing to be utilised in any live performance environment. Situated within the confines of a compact pedal chassis, the AD-2 is capable of unprecedented tonal characteristics of an unplugged acoustic guitar. The pedal also includes stage essentials such as notch filter for feedback reduction, balanced DI output and much more.

The CP-1X, powered by BOSS's (A division of the Roland company)MDP technology operates as a cutting edge multi-band compressor that perfectly preserves the nuances of your instrument and your individual technique. An intelligent and innovative device, the CP-1X analyzes your signal in varying dimensions as you play, providing an advanced dynamics control that doesn't muddy your tone much like the typical stompbox compressor can. With a simplistic and easy to operate interface you can expect the ultimate in user friendly experiences. Four-knob interfaces allow for easy and practical use whilst enabling you to dial in intricate parameters for a truly definitive sound.

The JC-22 Jazz Chorus delivers unparalleled classic JC clean tone with famous Dimensional Space Chorus. In its compact format, the amp is perfect for playing and practicing at home. It offers all the popular components of the coveted JC-40 in a completely scaled down size. Due to its relatively small frame the amp is perfectly suited for intimate performances and recording situations. With a high quality reverb and chorus feature, the amp produces a dynamic and versatile tone that gives the series a contemporary revamp whilst retaining all of its classic favoured specifications.
