Rolling Stones stars Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor look set to bust out their electric guitars and join New Blues pioneer Stephen Dale Petit at London's famous 100 Club on December 1st.

The rocker duo are rumoured to be reuniting live on stage for the one off gig in the hope of reviving the club, which has a unique history and heritage in the British music industry.

While Kings of Leon and The White Stripes have used the venue to host intimate London performances in recent years, the club has also played host to a number of iconic performances by the likes of Oasis, The Kinks, The Sex Pistols and The Who.

Legendary stars Louis Armstrong and BB King have also tread the boards of the venue in the 1940s and 50s.

Guitar player Petit is holding the benefit gig in the hope of raising awareness and support for the club.

He recently said: "The first gig I went to in the UK was Alexis Korner at The 100 Club. There is no other venue like it on earth - when you walk downstairs it's like entering a magic portal. I always feel honoured to perform there, and this show is going to be extra special."
