Ronnie Wood hoping for Rolling Stones tour
Ronnie Wood, electric guitar player in The Rolling Stones, has said he wants the band to go on tour next year.
The veteran musician has just performed a reunion gig with his old band The Faces but revealed that he is "ready to rock" with the Stones again in 2010.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, he added that he saw his Rolling Stones bandmates Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts just last week.
"Everything is great," he commented.
"It's all very good."
The Rolling Stones completed their most recent world tour in 2007, spending two years promoting their album A Bigger Bang.
Audiences across the world were treated to new tracks and classic Stones hits such as Paint It Black, Brown Sugar, Tumbling Dice and You Can't Always Get What You Want.
